How To Kill a Monster
Our most exciting project yet!
Anyone that was subscribed to our Youtube channel would remember Stagthorn Tales. And Aero and Flopsy always have been and always will be very near and dear to our hearts. But the time we made them, the time we spent on them and even our goals back then did not do them justice. We want to make the story awesome, more exciting, and a bit darker. So we are working with some awesome people and are definitely hoping to bring you an amazing and touching story.

Three episodes are out now and we are working on the fourth. We've transitioned a few different programs and have learned about our own workflow a lot. So we are hoping to get into a groove of both making the show better and faster!

HTKAM is the story of how a princess was forced to flee her kingdom and join forces with a party made up of fairies, an abomination and a punk monk to face off with monsters and horrors that she was never ready for. Will the party find the mystery that has tied them all together? Will Aero be able to save her family? Can they save the world from a destructive Lovecraftian cult? Just who the heck is Mister Mister and how old is he?! These are all questions that may or may not be answered as they all figure out How To Kill a Monster.

Welcome to the continent of Sghurd
Sghurd is a continent that has been burnt, slashed and mawled by magic and chaos.
The continent is divided into two main factions.
Scorchscale, a fiery industrial nation, and Fangbada a hydro punk country trying to live in peace with the dragons and other mystical creatures.
The two factions were peaceful for many generations until tensions rose along with the monster attacks ravaging both nations. Now the two are ready to go to war over trade agreements, land disputes and theological rivalries.
Main Cast
Our heroes of this story!
Aero
Princess of Ichor. She uncovered a plot to take over her home after the dissappearance of her fiance. When the raven knight traitors came after her she fell off of her own island and now must uncover the plot down on the surface below her previous luxurious home.
Flopsy
A monster trapped inside a cave for years. The same cave Aero landed in. Together the two fought their way out of that stone prison and entered a world neither of them understood.
Tonfa
A monk from Fangbada whose monastery burned down under mysterious circumstances. She has a natural talent for inventive and technical knowledge which she implements into her bo-staff. However she was never able to master her monestary's magic which weighs on her need to carry on their legacy.
Chonx
A Seelie Fae who was exiled from their forest tribe after being framed for killing the ancient tree mother matriarch of the seelie fae. Chonx joined Aero and Flopsy shortly after they escaped the cave. After trying to read Aero's future and mend her wing they tried to ask the Tree Mother for guidance when they were attacked by monsters who poisoned the great spirit.
Monsters of HTKAM
The fae come in two factions. The seelie in the north who protect the forest and are willing to aid humans who respect the ancient ways and the more feral unseelie fae who snatch children and defend their homes far more ruthlessly.
Dragons are treated differently in the east and west. Scorchscale fights off dragon attacks daily while Fangbada incorporated them into their religions and honor them as signs of strength and good fortune.
Famorians are a mystery and a dangerous one. Many thought they were long gone and yet now they scour the land causing chaos for chaos' sake. Infecting the land with madness.
Wolves, dragons, humans and even avians are disappearing and reappearing mutated. Eye like growths glowing in the night to take more poor innocent souls.
Were bears can have great careers as mercenaries, if they don't fall to the hunger rage first.
Changelings are a type of fae that will snatch children away then shapeshift into them to decieve the parents left behind.
